Analysis of the influencing factors of the dust removal efficiency and the life of the filter bag

  1. Air to cloth ratio selection

The selection of the air-to-cloth ratio is actually the amount of flue gas passing by the unit filter material per minute. For a small bag filter, the air-to-cloth ratio is the ratio of the gas volume at the inlet to the filter cloth area. In order to find the best air-to-cloth ratio, it is necessary to take the type of filter material, the way of cleaning dust and the performance of the dust collector as the main basis. If in the process of dust removal, the filter wind speed is in a high state, this situation is easy to cause the phenomenon of secondary dust due to uneven air distribution. If the filtered wind speed is in a low state, it is likely that the operation resistance is relatively large, resulting in frequent dust removal, which will increase the investment cost and reduce the corresponding economic benefits.

  1. The quality of the filter material

For the bag filter, the quality of the filter material has a direct impact on the efficiency of dust removal. In the process of selecting the filter material, not only the hardness of the particles must be considered, but also the characteristics of the dust and the characteristics of the flue gas. Under normal circumstances, the filter material with higher dust removal efficiency has the following characteristics: corrosion resistance, good air permeability, wear resistance, and meeting site requirements.

  1. Ways to clean dust

(1)Pulse blowback method

This method of cleaning dust takes the principle of back-blowing air pressure as the main basis. According to different pressures, it can be divided into two methods, namely low-pressure pulse blowback mode and high-pressure pulse blowback mode. At present, the application of this method of cleaning dust has been popularized, and the cleaning effect is relatively good. But this kind of dust removal method has a disadvantage, that is, there must be a compressed air source, otherwise there is no way to work normally.

(2)Counter-current blowback method

The reverse air blow method is actually to let the air blown in the opposite direction pass through the dust layer and the filter bag. Under the action of the air flow, the dust on the filter bag can fall off. In the process of using airflow to clean dust, the dust removal mechanism is very simple and easy to maintain. However, the inside of the filter bag must require a corresponding support structure, such as a grid or support ring, so that the filter bag will not be crushed and no adhesion phenomenon and it can also protect the primary layer.
